Good morning Jerm, Happy Father's Day to you. After 13 years this day for me never seems to change. Its still the same day it was 12 years ago, its the day I wish I was spending with you. There is never a day that goes by that you are not in my every thought. I often wonder what you would be doing, or where you would be, or how many children would you have. For us here, all we get is older...Time never stops, it just marches on. So in my mind, I know you would be a great Father, a great Husband, an awesome Friend, and a kind person. Merry Christmas Jerm. I know you had a wonderful day yesterday. Christmas for us down here is very different these days. Although filled with many of the same Christmas traditions you were used too. But for us it is different. The more time that passes the more we miss you and wish things were different for us left here on earth. Silent Tears Each day as evening starts to set the ache builds in my chestI know that Imust go to bed and try to get some rest. I hug my tear stained pillow close when no one is around and cry for one I love and lost and scream without a sound Others see me in the day and think I'm doing well but every day as evening sets I enter my own hell Time hasn't healed my pain at all or quieted my fears so every alone in bed I shed those silent tears. On this Christmas Eve morning 2017, I wanted to be one of the first to wish you a Merry Christmas Jerm... This being the 12th Christmas with out you physically at my side I know and feel your presence daily. This year, as years past has been challenging and rewarding at the same time. The opportunity the reunite with Stephanie and her Son Spencer a joy! The passing of Grandma Pahel, and My dear friend Jay Marcoe, all facts of life as one grows older they say. Never the less all blessing in disguise. There are reasons for everything as I'm sure you know. Not to be questioned, but to be received as Gods Grace. So kiss Grandma for me and hug her tight. Jerm miss you more and more every day. I can't sleep much these days. You are so much on my mind every hour of the day. I'm having a real hard time right now. It hits me hard most days that you really are not coming home. Just know I love you and always think of you day and night. That is way I'm up most the nights because you are on my mind. I think it is time for me to go get help with this. I will never give up and keep looking for you to call or show up to see me.
